Banned Books Week 2021

Banned Books Week is September 26th-October 2nd. The theme for the 2021 celebration of the right to read: “Books Unite Us. Censorship Divides Us.” To promote awareness and celebrate our freedom to read, we will be hosting a digital escape room! Successfully escape for a chance to win a prize! The library will also be sharing censorship statistics from the American Library Association and banned books that are available for check out in our library. On the Ridgecrest campus? Various banned book trivia will be posted in the student center and east wing. Know the answer? Claim a treat at the library circulation desk!
